Over the next 4 days, the last games in each group will be played simultaneously, with most teams having a chance to get through.
For example in Group A, Mexico and Uruguay have a classic prisoner's dilemma today. (I love World Cup games, and simplified game theory.) If they tie, they both advance. But if one team decides to go for the goal, then the other could be looking at the French or South Africans rolling through.
But more importantly, Group C. Any of the 4 teams could advance, and it will be decided in an hour of half. Let's do this.
