mrs. hoagie central on justin medlock

My wife weighed in on the news that the Chiefs cut rookie kicker Justin Medlock after missing a 30-yard field goal in Week 1.

"That doesn't create a good culture for football players." She added "fear doesn't win championships."

    Aren't kickers in general far more vulnerable to getting cut based on performance? I thought they often can end up switching teams (or getting cut) mid-season, much more than any other position.
