There hasn't been a whole lot to get excited about for the Avalanche this year. They're 27th in a league of 30 teams and just lost to #28.
Although it feels like the season just started, it's already 11% over. In the NFL, it would be the 4th quarter in week 2. Plenty of time to turn it around, but they've already dug themselves a hole.
Anyways, they finally had a nice game, hanging 7 on the Canucks. And there were some beauties:
Spin and nice pass by Duchene, Iginla backhands it top shelf.
Duchene dangles and makes another nice pass, McGinn buries it.
Duchene turns a 2 on 1 into a breakaway. That's what speed do.
Iginla makes a sick backhand tip. Wait for the last angle.
