how did this team go 9-7?

Alt title: The chargers are pretty good at finding skill players.

Defense includes Jamal Williams, Shawn Merriman, Quinten Jammer, and Luis Castillo among others.

That team went 9-7 and missed the playoffs. They finished 3rd in the division! They had 3 NFL starting running backs and two Pro Bowl quarterbacks.

It's just amazing to see that much talent on one offense, particularly at QB/RB.
