After the game, as I was watching the Spurs overpower the Cavs, I couldn't help but compare our opponent to the Spurs, and us to the Cavs. We knew going in they were a better team and that was that.
After I thought a little harder, I thought that we were more like the Utah Jazz than the Cavs-we're not a one-star team. I could make the case that I'm Deron Williams, and that he played well in the Conf. Finals, but he can only do so much.
As for playing defense, it's one thing to have to guard the Warriors, it's another thing to go up against the Spurs. Our softball defense is decent, but we couldn't contain last night's opponent.
