Apparently, just like the Stanley Cup, there is only one trophy for the softball tournament and our name is engraved on it for our 2006 victory. Of course we never saw it, not even a picture, although they said they'd try and get us a picture sometime soon.

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't the consolation bracket champion play the regular champion? Was it double elimination?
They made a consolation bracket so that everyone was guaranteed 2 games, since we had to get up at 8 on a saturday...but the championship bracket is designed as just a single elimination tourney.
