My First New Car

The first car I ever drove was a blue Ford Tempo that was previously my Dad's car.
Then I drove a green Mazda Protege that was previously my Mom's car.
Then I drove a gray Toyota Corolla that was previously Brit's car.
Then I drove a silver Toyota Corolla that was previously Brit's Mom's car.

So this is the first car I've ever gotten to choose. It's also the first new car I've ever had. It also happens to be the first Honda and first black car. I remember wanting a black car back in college.

The silver Corolla had a lot of miles on it. It was time.

Just picked up this game as it dropped to $30. (Was released in September 2015 at the standard price of $60. I generally wait 6-12 months for all games to halve in price.)

Here all the months that I've logged at least one day in my food journal, which I only do when I'm trying to lose weight. 

Chili Cheese Dog!

This was one of my favorite foods growing up. It's slightly unique in that it's clearly not foodie/gourmet, but it still requires more work than your average comfort food. I picked up some Ball Park angus dogs, Wolf Brand chili (no beans of course), Sargento Cheddar and Pepperidge Farm buns. Premium ingredients for a trailer park concoction.

You know how trying to capture nostalgia is usually a hopeless endeavor? This tasted better than I remembered. This was amazing. I ate three.

NCAA Championship Game: Must See To Believe

In the My Career mode, you create a player, start in high school, pick from 9 colleges to attend, and attempt to win the National Championship before being drafted into the NBA.

I'm Nick Beam, a 6'8" SF with a high top fade.

I find my team down 7 with under a minute to play...this game truly has to be seen to be believed.

All it took was a great defensive performance and Costa Rica shocking Columbia. Good news is that we'll likely avoid Brazil. We'll find out our opponent tomorrow, either Ecuador, Peru or Brazil.
