This was a beatdown of epic proportions. We got smoked. They are NOT who we thought they were.
This was our big rival? This had all the excitement of the DMV. It wasn't even disappointing to lose, we were just outmatched the whole time.
I pitched well, hardly any balls when I didn't want them. Made a few good defensive plays from the mound. Got a nice line drive on the opening at bat, and that's all I could do at the plate.
One thing I noticed is how professional they were in the field. They didn't make a single error. We had at least 4 balls go out of play, a few thrown past the first basemen, a few errant throws to home.
We couldn't get anything going offensively, couldn't make smart plays in the field. It was a disaster.
Team Record: 2-3
