I love sauces. My fridge is always overstocked with condiments. One of the ways that I make quick, healthy homemade dishes is to whip up a sauce in just the portion I need. This year I discovered that nonfat plain greek yogurt (I use Chobani) is a nutritional superstar, with less calories, less carbs and more protein than even light mayo or light sour cream. It delivers on creaminess with a nice tang and it is perfectly suited for savory applications. So here's 10 sauces I've made with greek yogurt plus a few others I've got in my arsenal.

Do you make a few batches ahead of time, or for use with a dish and keep more in the fridge for later use?
ReplyDeleteThe tzatziki is the only one that requires a big batch (because of the cucumber). Otherwise I prefer to only make what I need for that meal so it's fresh and I won't waste anything.
