Patrick Mahomes has been the Chiefs starting QB for three seasons, playing 51 games so far, including the playoffs.

These numbers are objectively insane. 

The 42-9 record by itself is remarkable. 

Out of 51 games, 24 wins were by more than one possession. 0 losses were. 

14 wins were by 16+. With Mahomes, the Chiefs have been more likely to win by 16 than lose. 

In the playoffs, the Chiefs are 4-1 with Mahomes. All 4 wins were by double digits. The one loss was an OT loss where Mahomes didn't get to touch the ball. 

Of those 9 losses, the Chiefs offense scored 31+ in 6 of them. The other three losses, the Chiefs scored 28, 24 and 13. (The 13-19 loss to the Colts was the one game I've seen Mahomes play in person.)
