So last August we went to Hugo's Frog Bar and I added it to the list of best meals ever. Well after going to Italy, I've got one to add and I think that Hugo's just got bumped. It didn't stand the test of time.
Although we did have the panini of a lifetime there, it's hard to consider that a meal in the sense of this list. The one I'm adding was from Florence, when we ate at Lo Scudo just southwest of the Duomo. I ordered the 600 gram Bistecca Fiorentina and it was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. There was lemon and roasted red peppers and it was unbelievable. So good we had to go back.
So that makes 3 of the 4 best meals ever steak-focused. I don't even remember all that we ate at Le Village, there was meat and crepes and desserts and bread. Mmmmm.
